I drew a hedgehog.

I lost my 8B pencil. I have no idea where it could be. I was using it a few hours ago. My bedroom is perfectly clean. It just…vanished. And I have like 9 hours of work invested in this 18X24 pencil drawing and I need that pencil to finish it. And now my sketch book is just sitting there and staring at me in its 2/3rds finished state and I’m SO RESENTFUL.

I had to break out the tablet to distract myself. There’s nothing good on TV. :< Only thing that came of it was sketchy John. First time I’ve ever drawn him, he’s fun. I did a Sherlock too, but I got a little excited with the crosshatching and he went from sultry-pouty-sex to dusty-chimney-sweep and I scrapped him.

I haven’t worked with my tablet in a really long time. I’d like to get back into doing more refined work with it, but for now, I think it’ll all be quick sketches like this.

I’m so into this character right now. I think he’s fascinating. Johnny-Come-Lately. <3
