Reading up on pet hedgehogs, came across this gem…
“If your hedgehog smells something he likes or if he simply comes across a smell that he is unfamiliar with, such as leather, perfume, etc., he will foam at the mouth and will then deposit this foamy saliva on his back and shoulders.”
SOMEONE DRAW JAWN DOING THIS WITH SHERLOCK. PLEASE.
oh god yes.
QUICK! FLOOD REAPERSUN’S ASK BOX!
“In an effort to cover as much of their backs as possible with this foam, many hedgehogs will contort their bodies in such a way that they will sometimes fall over. Many hedgehogs become so engrossed with this activity that they become totally oblivious to anything going on around them!”
I’m dying. The mental image…
I lost my 8B pencil. I have no idea where it could be. I was using it a few hours ago. My bedroom is perfectly clean. It just…vanished. And I have like 9 hours of work invested in this 18X24 pencil drawing and I need that pencil to finish it. And now my sketch book is just sitting there and staring at me in its 2/3rds finished state and I’m SO RESENTFUL.
I had to break out the tablet to distract myself. There’s nothing good on TV. :< Only thing that came of it was sketchy John. First time I’ve ever drawn him, he’s fun. I did a Sherlock too, but I got a little excited with the crosshatching and he went from sultry-pouty-sex to dusty-chimney-sweep and I scrapped him.
I haven’t worked with my tablet in a really long time. I’d like to get back into doing more refined work with it, but for now, I think it’ll all be quick sketches like this.
I’m so into this character right now. I think he’s fascinating. Johnny-Come-Lately. <3
